In the interview, Manzour reflected on his rare appearances in artistic works and his preference for a quiet life away from the spotlight.
The actor, known for his selectivity, said, “I do not do many works in general, and this is due to selectivity. I am difficult to please in my choices.”
He added that many roles offered to him are declined due to time constraints or involvement in major projects.
Manzour, who has a strong background in theater, emphasized that he values staying connected with ordinary people, saying, “The reference for any actor to show his skills and art is people. If I am not among people, I will not be able to perform any role.”
Following his breakout role as Prince Arsalan in ‘Lady of the Mansion’, which earned him a Best TV Actor award in 2018, Manzour deliberately chose a different artistic path, avoiding being typecast.
“I could have continued in works similar to that role. But I chose to go against the tide,” he explained.
With an extensive career in theater, film, and television, as well as a background in teaching acting, Manzour remains a respected figure in Iranian entertainment.
As ‘Lady of the Mansion’ captivates new audiences, his artistic philosophy and selective approach to roles continue to draw attention.
